Neudesic Pulse today announced that research firms Gartner Inc. and Constellation Research Inc. cited it in their social software reports.

The Gartner 2016 Market Guide for Enterprise Social Networking Applications (ESN) highlights the most important ESN trends and lists 15 vendors. Included in the report is Neudesic Pulse, as a Representative Vendor and The Firm Directory, which is built on the Pulse platform. The Gartner report states, “enterprise social networking technology can be found in specialist applications, but increasingly is also embedded in other applications, as well as in emerging workstream collaboration tools.” Pulse has also been mentioned in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace for the past three years.

For the first time, Neudesic Pulse was included in the Constellation ShortList™ Social Task Management: Enterprise Suites With Project Features by research firm Constellation Research. The firm analyzed more than 20 vendors in this market. Pulse was recognized as a leading offering for early adopters pursuing digital transformation. Companies included on the Constellation ShortList were listed because they provide the key functionality and requirements for early adopters pursuing digital transformation initiatives.

“Form must follow function in digital transformation. Once you craft the right digital business models, you’ll need the right digital technologies for success,” said R “Ray” Wang, chairman and founder at Constellation Research. “As organizations implement digital programs to disrupt an industry, employment of the right tools will determine whether or not the program is successful; each Constellation ShortList guides companies to the right technologies for their transformation initiatives.”

“We are honored to be included in the Gartner Market Guide. We believe the report speaks to the depth of our product offering and market focus,” said Ramin Vosough, Neudesic’s vice president of product. “We are also excited to be named in The Constellation ShortList. Pulse’s recognition as a top enterprise social platform is, in part, due to our unique combined offering of enterprise social, expertise location and industry specific solutions. One example of this is The Firm Directory, a refined knowledge sharing system that enables employee, client, or matter expertise for the legal industry.”

The inclusion in Gartner and Constellation Research reports comes on the heels of Pulse being named for the third consecutive year in the Aragon Research Globe™ for Social Software report that evaluates 21 enterprise social network providers, who each focus on the core problem of sharing knowledge.

Available both on-premises or via a managed cloud service, Neudesic Pulse combines social features and a social-centric approach to pre-integration with Microsoft SharePoint, SAP and other CRM applications, as well as a variety of line-of-business systems, giving organizations an integrated collaboration platform, knowledge repository and expertise discovery system.
